2020: Activity 35 – Belton House

Today we visited Belton House, a National Trust property near Grantham.

This summer I’ve shared regular updates of what we’ve been up to during the school holidays – you can see a summary at our 2020: 42 Activities of Summer page.

Here’s a Relive video of our walk

And some photos

The play park is close to the car park. We decided to walk round the gardens first, where there were a couple of lakes, and bee hives. We were also able to walk through the orangery and past a beautiful old fountain before returning to the cafe area with a stables cafe (with booths in the old stables) plus a grooming cafe (both were closed due to coronavirius – but looked great).

The boys enjoyed playing in the park. At the far end there was a station, with a level crosssing, and train track.

Have you visited Belton House?
