Lunch, A Walk To Penshaw and Never Ending Story
Today we walked to Penshaw Monument.
This is a regular place we visit as a family. It’s a good climb and the 360 degree views, especially on a day like today, are spectacular.
Earlier in the day I had lunch with a friend I’d not seen for far too long. We ate at The Good Apple vegetarian cafe in Derwent Street, Sunderland. I had cauliflower soup and a very tasty vegan wrap. We chatted blogs and wellbeing, and I’m so pleased we’ve reconnected. I’m looking forward to trying a WordPress Blog Challenge she’s suggested soon :-).
Family film night this week was The Never Ending Story on Netflix. It’s interesting how you see a film differently as a parent. It was still the great film I remembered but I was very concious that the boy hadn’t returned home to his father after school.
I hope you’ve had a good day. What have you been up too?
