Summer 2019 : Day 42 – Final Day Including Jump Giants
This summer I’ve posted what we’ve been up to each day of the school holidays – you can see a summary of our adventures at our 2019: 42 Days of Summer page.
This morning Dad and I spent time reading and practising play lines whilst the boys had tablet time.
Late morning, we visited Go Outdoors. We all enjoyed looking in the tents outside, and the boys found a double camp bunk bed.
We had a McDonalds for lunch and I tried a salad for the first time. Dad said my burger with salad in was the first a burger has ever looked like the ones in the adverts. It was the finest I’ve tasted.
It was the first time I’d seen wireless charging points on the table. Certain phones will charge automatically if placed on top – or you can buy a plug in to make them work.
Next stop was Jump Giants at Gateshead. Going trampolining was another thing on the boys summer bucket list. I got a Groupon voucher and paid the obligatory £2.50 for their own branded socks. Inside was bright colours and the photos have come out well.
As well as trampolines there was a ninja trail for those 1.3m and above, and a wipeout (360 degree spinning bar) for over 12s. There were other games like basketball, dodgems, and hovercraft looking dodgems (£2 charge). The cafe had a soft play inside so good if you have older and younger children.
This evening I’m at the cinema for a double bill
Today concludes the 2019: 42 Days of Summer posts (daily posts throughout the summer holidays) – you can see a summary on our blog : https://wordpress.com/…/thehillsarealiveadventures.blog/1963
