Summer 2019: Day 38 – Bridlington South Beach
This summer I’ve posted what we’ve been up to each day of the school holidays – you can see a summary of our adventures at our 2019: 42 Days of Summer page.
Today, after a leisurely morning whilst the boys watched Spiderman, we spent the day at Bridlington South Beach. It was just a short walk through the town centre and past the harbour.
The tide was out on arrival and it was good to watch it come in, form a sand island, and then annihilate Skull Island which the boys had created.
We had lunch at a beach cafe with a 25% off card from the B&B owners.
It had old school arcades which sparked a conversation around old favourites and a recommendation to The Arcade at Bury (a video arcade attraction) which has 2641 reviews with an average of 4.8/5 stars. I’d like to go there –

I enjoyed our catch up including C’s take on different approaches to dealing with wasps.
