Summer 2019: Day 23 – More Google Digital Garage training and a walk to Penshaw monument
This summer I’ve posted what we’ve been up to each day of the school holidays – you can see a summary of our adventures at our 2019: 42 Days of Summer page.
This morning I completed Getting Started with Digital Advertising and #IAmRemarkable courses at Google Digital Garage.
I met more brilliant people including:
David Blakelock, Director at The Media Consultancy, who has been creating copy and content for businesses for the past 17 years. He recommended a networking event for local businesses at The Innovation Centre which meet the last Thursday of every month. https://themediaconsultancy.co.uk/
Maddie from Perfect Princess Parties and Events. Maddie is well established and has been in business five years providing Disney parties for 3-8 year olds. She really impressed me today. Please give her a like, and consider her for future parties: https://m.facebook.com/perfectprincesspartiesevents/
Adeerie who is studying Anthropology at Durham University. He doesn’t yet have a social media platform but is quietly confident. I’m so pleased to have met you, and wish you every success
This afternoon we went for a walk to Penshaw Monument. Walking is my favourite thing to do with family as it’s the one time the boys (including Dad) open up in a relaxed environment.
This evening we watched Back to the Future 2 for family film night.
Thanks Mamma for looking after Boy 2 for the past few days, and for giving us tomatoes and your prized big white and red onions from your allotment
Joke of the day; What is the best time to visit the dentist? 2.30 (tooth hurty)
Last but not least a very happy birthday to my good friend K x
I hope you’ve had a good day. What have you been up to?
