Summer 2019: Day 16 – Holmside park
This summer I’ve posted what we’ve been up to each day of the school holidays – you can see a summary of our adventures at our 2019: 42 Days of Summer page.
With rain imminent, and five children ranging from six to almost thirteen, my friends and I decided to spend the day at Holmside Park, which has a large indoor space with inflatables, soft play, roller skating and archery.
The staff were fantastic, and we secured a 20% discount with Kids Pass. We enjoyed catching up over coffees and having a go shooting arrows together. The children liked the freedom to do what they wanted (especially the roller skating) and it was great to get outside for a couple of hours after the rain stopped. Six hours flew by.
Back at the house we had our annual tea and TV night, featuring Dr Who with popcorn galore. Perfect
Have you been to Holmside Park? Did you enjoy it?
