Summer 2019: Today we walked the Boundary Walk at Chopwell Wood.
This summer I’ve posted what we’ve been up to each day of the school holidays – you can see a summary of our adventures at our 2019: 42 Days of Summer page.
Chopwell Wood is great for walking in the sun (the shade keeps you cool) and the wet (the trees provide some cover from the rain). There are walks ranging from 0.3 miles to 5.6 miles, and a red and black mountain bike trail.
There are also various events as shown in the posters above. It’s a shame there is no cafe or toilets at the forest, but it makes for a peaceful place to visit, and it’s one of our favourites.
