Manchester – Sea Life Centre

Following our trip to Legoland Discovery Centre, we headed straight to the Sea Life Centre next door.

Last year we’d visited the Sea Life Centre at Blackpool (as part of a tourist pass plus – a great trip) and there were lots of similarities, including passports for the boys to stamp on the way round, and a starfish stroking experience.  This one had a three story soft play, a lady on a shark stall handing out two tubs of play dough to each child, and a three player computer game.  Blackpool didn’t have these, but had an amazing cinema style aquarium wall at the end where you could sit and watch the fish as long as you liked.

We all enjoyed the Sea Life Centre.  After our busy morning, we decided to go to Frankie and Benny’s on the other side of the Trafford Centre for lunch.  The boys were very pleased to see the “free slime” (with every kids meal) poster outside.   The (small eaters) children’s meals at £4.99 with two choices of sides, a drink and pudding offer good value, and the children’s activities with crayons kept us entertained whist waiting on the food.

Have you visited this or any other Sea Life Centres?  What do you think of them?
