The Aftermath

This afternoon I visited the cinema with good friend K to see the Aftermath. Set in post World War II, a British colonel and his wife are assigned to live in Hamburg during the post-war reconstruction, but tensions arise with the German who previously owned the house.

Slimmer of the week!

Upon weighing in at group this morning, I discovered I’d lost 5lbs this week, and was the slimmer of the week.  I won a goody bag of fruit and tinned goods.  I was also presented with 1/2 stone lost certificate.  Go me!  (I almost fell off my chair!)  I was not expecting this, so it really brightened my day. Anniversary Spa Treat
